(More customer reviews)This train, and the other models, are a lot of fun, especially for my 2 1/2 year old son who is a train fanatic! The train is easy for my son to take on and off the tracks and he can easily work the remote control. A drawback is that the train does not move very fast even with brand new batteries. Also, it would be more fun if the remote allowed the train to go both forwards and backwards, instead of just forward. My son loves the train though and enjoys the sounds the remote makes. Note however that the prices online are quite high. I bought this exact model at Target for $10.99. Although this was a sale price, the regular price is $14.99, which is the same price I paid at Toys R Us for a different train model.
