She likes Dora and dolls well enough but is not obsessed with either, and yet this doll really seemed to click with her for some reason. One thing that is not readilly evident from the description is the fact that under the clothes a pink swimsuit is painted on the doll's body. She was so excited to discover this and take Dora in the tub with her. The doll's hair is really brushable, more so than Barbie's, for example, and my daughter also likes that the shoes come on and off easily and yet stay on well. All in all, it's just a nice little doll that a little girl can enjoy.
