My 8-month-old daughter loves this and the cars that come with it. She hasn't quite figured out to put the cars at the top of the ramp to let them fall down but she loves the spinner that makes noises. She also thinks that it is very funny when the cars come out of the ramp. She's learning to open and close the gate, and the cars themselves seem to entertain her. They roll on the ball in the center, instead of four wheels, so no little parts to worry about. She likes to shake the cars, which rattle, and spin the balls in them. She doesn't seem to get tired of this toy and the spinner has an on/off switch that is handy. The noises aren't annoying because they aren't terribly loud and there are a variety of them to so it keeps it interesting. I think she will play with this toy for a long time.
