(More customer reviews)We have a grandson by marriage, and it seems as though it has been a long time since we have purchased baby toys. When we started looking for toys, our first choice from experience with our children was Fisher-Price. The selection of toys and their sophistication has changed a lot in the couple of decades since we last bought baby toys.
This toy is a blast. Every time you push on a pad in the center of the stable you hear a horse whinny. The feeding trough at the side of the barn makes slurp noise.
You get several horses, a cart, a couple of fence pieces, a corral piece, and a bale of hay. My only objection is that it appears there is no way to connect the two fences and the corral piece from one side of the barn to the other, so they pretty much have to be connected as the photograph shows. I guess the horses were intended to run away.
I admit that I really enjoy that horse whinny. Our one year old grandson also thought it was a blast, and gets smiles whenever he hears it. He's still working on exactly how to make the whinny noise, but he likes it. On the other hand, the whinny drives my wife nuts.
We were impressed with this first purchase of a Little People Fisher-Price toy and plan to buy more.
