My 2 year old loves the classic Grow With Me Quad Skates I purchased from eBay, but they have been used and are a little rough on the smooth rink floor. These are the skates we grew up with, and the roll forward feature keeps her safe on the outdoor court the roller derby league uses. We pair them up with a helmet and knee pads so she can be a derby skater like Mom! Now that they have been re-released in the quad format, I can get her a brand new pair. I know they will be as special to her as the used ones she got for Christmas.
