(More customer reviews)We got the Kick & Play Piano as a shower gift and I wasn't all that impressed with it in the beginning - it looked kind of cheap and gaudy compared to other crib toys. So, we put it aside and didn't think much about it for the first few months. Recently, our 4 month old is just starting to outgrow his mobile. I was looking for something a little more interactive that will entertain him in his crib so I decided to try this toy. We attached it to the crib and it was a big hit!
There are 3 different settings:
1 - continuous music (several different tunes that play over and over regardless of whether any keys are pressed)
2 - pressing a key to access the corresponding animal sound, counting, or song
3 - works like an actual keyboard - each Key is a different note.
this has really held my son's attention. Not sure if he associates the cause and effect of his kicking the keys, but at least the activity is somewhat interactive and lasts longer than the mobile without my having to constantly rewind it.
