As far as what it does, I don't think it is very educational but it reinforces how much she loves the Little Einsteins tv show, which I do think is educational. Moreover, she has so much fun playing with it. My only criticism of the toy is that I think it's a ripoff that it just doesn't come with all 4 characters. As much as you pay for it, the least they could do us supply all 4 characters instead of making you purchase them separately.
