(More customer reviews)This was my daughter's first toy, at 4 months. She quickly learned how to push the pig's nose to get it to squeak, and was so excited to be able to do that. It was adorable to see her, and it definitely helped her fine motor skills. That was the first time she used her hand like that. She was never as interested in the cow or tractor, but from about 4-7 or 8 months, she loved to play with the pig and sometimes the chicken. She still hasn't figured out how to stack them, so this toy might grow with her once she learns that aspect, and can stack her peek-a-blocks on the tractor. This is one of the few toys we got her that held her interest over weeks and months, and it doesn't have batteries, thank god. We got her some more expensive toys that light up and sing and all that jazz, but they don't hold her interest. The texture and sounds of these toys entranced her, and I hope she will keep playing with this in new ways as she gets older.
