The two smaller pods detach for extra swooshing, the big rocket exhaust lights up and turns, and the toy has survived a year of banging, crashing, swooping and stepping on by my 7 year old, who owns it, and my 4 year old, who begs to play with it. It is hard to find plastic play toys that hold up to actual play, but this one is great!
