(More customer reviews)This interested our daughter beginning around 3 months of age, although she didn't really play with it until she could hold onto its parts. There are several ways children can activate the sounds; when they put their hand inside the jar, when they put the shapes through the openings on the side, and when the nose is pressed. There's a switch to set the sounds to shapes or numbers (each "cookie" shape is numbered) so when put through the side openings, the jar will say "triangle" or "three," along with other words and sounds like "Yummy," "I love you," chimes, and giggles.
I think this toy is adorable, fun, and educational. Babies can enjoy the noises and toddlers can understand what they mean.
